Fit For Purpose
Are we unusually sporty at One 17? In an office of twenty odd people (yes, some odder than others) we seem to have a high proportion keen to get off their backsides and get sweaty by one means or another.
Keen to encourage good habits, we arranged for a personal trainer to come in two evenings a week to hold classes. Tuesdays are fit ball and Pilates sessions, whilst Thursday is running/jogging in two different ability groups. We’re lucky to have some great off road running within yards of the office. Not only has participation in these not dropped off, it’s actually increasing.
In addition to this we run a five a side football team in a local league on Monday nights and there is a mountain bike group that goes out on Wednesday evenings. And this doesn’t include whatever people get up to on their own…. Good job we’ve got showers in the office!
