Natural Good Taste
Beside our office we have converted some former farm outbuildings to two rather splendid houses(well we would say that, wouldn’t we) which are now for sale.
Rather than finish them off completely, the houses are at a stage where buyers can still influence some finishes and fittings. The garage to one of the houses is at shell stage waiting to receive doors and, without so much as a call to the estate agent, someone has already taken up residence: a family of swallows has nested in the ridge of the building and the parents swoop in and out at regular intervals carrying food to the chicks.
Investigation showed three tiny, sleepy heads with enormous beaks peeking over the edge of the nest. Watch this space
