Although the blog has been strangely silent for a while, that does not mean life has been quiet at One 17. Far from it. I could say too busy to permit time for blogging but that would indeed be a pathetic excuse.

Priorities



My mother, a widowed octagenarian, still lives in the house in which I and my brother were brought up. It is a typical nineteenth century Cambridgeshire cottage built in flint [or clunch as it is known locally]. It is charming, picturesque and about as thermally insulated as a colander.

Fit For Purpose



Are we unusually sporty at One 17? In an office of twenty odd people (yes, some odder than others) we seem to have a high proportion keen to get off their backsides and get sweaty by one means or another.

More Congratulations



Alan, from our sister graphics company, One 17 GC, recently celebrated his marriage to Ruth. The fact that their daughter, Neve, attended the event confirms it was not a whirlwind romance, so they both know what they’re doing!
