That rant back in August did me no good at all. The rest of the month and the whole of September disappeared in a blur. So what’s been happening at the Dyehouse? Well, last Sunday was well worth recording.
It was the Huddersfield Cancer Research UK 10 kilometre charity run. Two of our esteemed associates, Jonathan Budd and Matthew Budd took part. Jonathan is the good looking one on the left in the photograph and Matthew the good looking one on the right.
The weather was gorgeous, the course sympathetic and both managed to run personal bests. In fact Matthew managed a little more than that: he won the race in 39 minutes 08seconds! Jonathan was less than four minutes behind and most importantly of all, between them they raised over £700 in sponsorship. Result.
