Nearly There

The last piece of our pond restoration jigsaw is now being fitted. This beautiful purpose made stainless steel sluice was delivered earlier this week and is, even as we speak, being built in to the outlet that it will control. The sluice will allow us to regulate the pond water level quickly and easily in the event that we suffer another problem such as the one that started the saga earlier this year.

The awkward access meant it was a case of all hands to the sluice to place it in position before the masonry surround could be completed.

Can’t be long before the fish are back now!
